Obituary of Sherri Lee Bohannon

Sherri Lee Bohannon December 13, 1969 - April 11, 2016 Funeral services for Sherri Lee Bohannon, 46, of Lovington, NM will be held on Saturday, April 16, 2016 at 2:00 pm at Prairie Haven Memorial Park Chapel, Hobbs, NM with burial to follow at Prairie Haven Cemetery with Mick Cavanaugh officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Kirby-Smith-Rogers Funeral Home. Sherri was born on December 13, 1969 in City of Industry, California to Jerry Wayne and Patricia Jean (Goodman) Bohannon and passed away on April 11, 2016 in Lovington, NM. She was a waitress for many years and was a hard worker. She enjoyed playing spider solitaire, riding a motorcycle and being with her family and taking care of her boys. She was a kind person who was very friendly and never turned anyone needing help away. Her boys described her as a loving, beautiful soul. She was a well loved lady. She was preceded in death by her parents. Surviving her are her two sons: Cameron Compton of Lovington and Brandon Bohannon of Lovington; Her sweetheart for ten years, Brent Pipkins of Lovington; four sisters: Tamara Bohannon of Hobbs, NM; her twin sister, Gerri Ann Bohannon of Pennsylvania; Jolene Rice of California; and Jonette Moore Crosley and husband Nathan of Pennsylvania; her step-mother: Linda Koerber of Arizona and step-dad, Bobby Moore; several nieces and nephews: Timothy and Jesse Bohannon, Derrek Johnson, Randy “Boo” Wilson ,Anyrah Bohannon, Journi Rice, Jordan and Jayden Rojas, Leshay Unique Hopkins, Lilyanna, Trey, and Taren Crosley. Visitation will be held Friday, April 15, 2016 from 10:00 am until 5:00 pm at the funeral home.
