Obituary of Juanita Faye Byrum

Funeral services for Juanita Faye Price Byrum, 98, of Lovington, NM, will be held on Friday, December 14, 2018 at 1:00 pm at Kirby-Smith-Rogers Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Matt Bridges officiating. Burial will follow at Resthaven cemetery. Mrs. Byrum was born in Sulfur Springs, OK on March 19, 1920 to Albert and Lavena Price and went to be with the Lord on December 5, 2018 in Lovington. She was preceded in death by her parents; Her husband: Ottis Byrum; one sister: Geneva Greenhaw; one grandson: Gary Byrum and one great-grandson: Jason Byrum. Surviving her are four children: Ron Byrum of Phoenix, AZ, Judy Alexander of Lovington, NM; Kathy Turner of Paris, TX and Rebecca Kerby and husband Pat of Paris, TX; also Jennie Byrum of Seattle, WA, who is a niece but loved and cherished like a daughter. Seven grandchildren: David and wife Brenda Bridgforth of Dallas, TX; Kimberly Bridgforth of Paris, TX; Steven Byrum of Phoenix, AZ; Matt and wife Kathi Alexander of Lovington, NM; Suzanne and husband Andy Schaap of Hereford, TX; Shea and wife Jodi Maybee of Dallas, TX; and Shannon Maybe of Paris, TX. Also twelve great-grandchildren: Lara and Rachel Byrum, Kennedy Bridgforth, Liam, Annaka, and Gabby Schaap, Jadrian Sanders, Robert and Noah Lane, Brett, Scott, and Nathan Alexander and a host of nieces, nephew and other dear ones she loved and cherished. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 4:00 – 8:00 pm and Friday from 9:00 till service time at the funeral home.
