Obituary of Gary Lawrence Segel

Memorial services for Gary Lawrence Segel, 44, of Lovington, NM will be held on Monday, December 17, 2018 at 2:00 pm at Kirby-Smith-Rogers Chapel with Bro. Dave Rowser officiating. Gary was born on February 3, 1974 in Ft. Riley, Kansas to Gary Otto and Cindy Sue (Mahler) Segel and passed away in Lovington on December 3, 2018. After graduation and some college he served in the US Navy and after discharge was employed by Pacific Ship in their shipyards. He married Linda Sue Lehman in San Diego, CA on March 26, 2010. Gary enjoyed lake fishing, smoking good meals for his kids and family and was an avid Packers man. He liked being on facebook, keeping up with friends. He loved his family and especially liked being with his kids and grandkids. He was preceded in death by his stepfather: Randy Scholz. Surviving him is his wife Linda of the home; his mother: Cindy Scholz of Wisconsin; two sons: Christian and wife Rayanne Segel of Nebraska and David Larsen of Wyoming; two daughters: Jillyan and husband Daniel Lawrence of San Diego, CA and Sherryl Larsen of California ; one brother: Chris Scholz of Wisconsin and six grandchildren and also other extended family
