Obituary of Juanita Silverio

Funeral services for Juanita Silverio, 42, of Lovington, NM will be held on Tuesday, January 22, 2019 at 2:00 pm at Kirby-Smith-Rogers Chapel with Joe Sanchez, Pastor, officiating. Burial will follow at Lovington Cemetery. Juanita was born on September 15, 1976 in Hobbs, NM to Ernesto and Juana (Gaytan) Rodriguez and passed away at her residence on January 17, 2019. She attended school in Lovington through the sixth grade then attended Kermit, TX school through the tenth grade and back to Hobbs High School and graduated. She married Lusino Silverio in Lovington on May 8, 2003 and they have shared fifteen years together. Juanita was a very creative person and loved planning parties. She enjoyed baking and going to the Casino but her favorite thing to do was Shop! She loved good deals and couldn't resist them. She was involved with Laces with her daughter and also taking her son to baseball practice and watching his games. Her sense of humor was very much in evidence throughout her battle with cancer and she was a loving wife and mother and sister. Preceding her in death were her parents and one brother: Gerardo Rodriguez. Surviving her is her husband, Lusino of the home; one son: Dante Silverio; three daughters: Adriana and husband Gerald McBride of Lovington, Mayrin Silverio and Hannah Silverio both of Lovington; four brothers: Fausto and wife Sylvia Rodriguez of Denver City, TX, Guillermo and wife Ampara Rodriguez of Lovington, NM; Ernesto Rodriguez and Simon Rodriguez both of Ojinaga, Mexico; and three sisters: Amalia and husband Ricardo Villasenor of Lovington; Maria Rodriguez of Odessa, TX and Miceala Rodriguez of Lovington. Visitation will be held on Monday, January 21, 2019 from 1:00 pm until rosary at 7:00 pm.
