I am so sorry for your loss. With the loss of a loved one, we find hope in the future promise in the scriptural passage in Revelation 21:4 "He will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be any more. The former things have passed away."
Until that time, we find comfort (2 Corinthians 1:3) in these words: "Praised be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of tender mercies and the God of all comfort."
