Obituary of Juan Robert Salmon

Funeral services for Juan Robert Salmon, 53, of Lovington, NM will be held on Thursday, April 4, 2019 at 1:00 pm at Church of The Living Waters with Manuel Diaz officiating. Burial will follow at the Lovington Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Kirby-Smith-Rogers Funeral Home. Robert was born on July 6, 1965 to Ramon Sr. and Olivia Salmon and passed away on March 30, 2019 in Lovington, NM. Robert married Camelia Ramirez on October 2, 1991 in Lovington, NM. He graduated from Lovington High School. He liked rooster fights, horses, horse races, and hunting. Robert had a good sense of humor and he was very generous and caring and he liked to help others. He was very respectful and he liked to make everybody laugh and was always being a clown. He loved being with his family. He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister: Elia Salmon Surviving him is his wife Camelia Salmon of Lovington, NM, two sons: Roberto Salmon of Lovington, NM, and Mario Salmon of Lovington, NM; one daughter: Laura and husband Patrick Barela of San Antonio, TX; three brothers: Ramon Jr. Salmon and wife Maria of Lovington, NM, Ricard Salmon and wife Esther of Amarillo, TX, and Gilbert Salmon and wife Shannon of Hobbs, NM; two sisters: Delma Tarin of Hobbs, NM and Priscilla Marquez and husband Federico of Lovington, NM; two grandchildren: Azul Navarro and Jayden Barela both of San Antonio, TX. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 3, 2019 from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm.
