Memorial services for Raymond B. Selby, 80, of Lovington, NM will be held on Friday, April 5, 2019 at 10:00 am at Kirby-Smith-Rogers Funeral Home Chapel with Dustin Rozeboom officiating. Ray was born on July 19, 1938 in Crossett, Arkansas and was called to his Heavenly home on March 25, 2019. He was the first born to Floyd Raymond and Merle Jean Selby and was raised in Hamburg, Arkansas. He attended school in Arkansas and joined the Arkansas National Guard and then the US Air Force in 1954. He Married Carolyn Whittington of Ada, OK and they shared many years of life and love together. Ray worked in the oilfield for over fifty years and was a consultant and pumper when he retired in 2016. Preceding him in death were his parents and one brother: Marion Selby. He was the proud father of three daughters: Rayna King of Midland, TX, Maggie McDougle of Katy, TX, Kathy Williams of Hobbs, NM and three sons: Dustin Rozeboom of Katy, TX, James Selby of Hobbs, NM and Chris Morphew of Midland, TX. Ray was the beloved Papa to Jason, Angie, and Rebecca Selby; Matthew, Ayden, Boston and Bronx King; Logan Rozeboom; Brycen, Tate and Selby Grace McDougle; also three great-grandsons: Jeremy and Joshua Selby of Kermit, TX and Kaius Ray King of Albuquerque, NM; one brother: John Selby of Rison, AR and one sister-in-law: Cindy Selby of Bearden, AR. Rays family was the joy of his life!
