Obituary of Larry Carl Dean

Larry Carl Dean, 65, of Lovington, NM was born on May 27, 1955 in Lovington, NM to Jerry and Donna Dean and passed away on October 30, 2020 at his residence. Larry was raised in Lovington and graduated from Lovington High School in 1973. He continued his education at New Mexico State University graduating with a Bachelor's degree. He grew up on a cattle ranch west of Lovington and helped his father with the ranching. Larry was an outdoorsman and really enjoyed hunting, fishing and golfing. He began working at Lea County Electric Cooperative at a young age and worked there until his retirement. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jerry and Donna. Surviving him is his son: Russell and wife Jennifer Dean of Paige, TX; one sister: Debra and husband Bill Noland of Aztec, NM and his grandchildren: Justin, Bailey, Konner, Tristan, Karamarie and Ryan and a host of friends. Cremation has taken place and a celebration of his life will be held at a later date. Arrangements were under the direction of Kirby-Ratliff Funeral Home.
